XI MU OMEGA CHAPTER

It is indeed a pleasure for me to welcome each of you to the virtual setting of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated chartered chapter Xi Mu Omega.   On June 27, 1982, Xi Mu Omega became the first Greek letter organization chartered in the city of Columbia, Mississippi.  Twenty dedicated women joined together to make the chartering a success.  Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated is the channel through which we, as sisters, work to improve the social and economic conditions in our communities, cities, state, and nation. Xi Mu Omega is comprised of a diverse group of women who are dedicated to nurturing and upholding our motto “Service to All Mankind.”  We are dedicated to the communities that we serve which include Columbia, Tylertown, Picayune, and Poplarville, MS.  We strongly seek opportunities to engage with the communities that we serve, participate with community partners, and offer our services to help mankind.
